Well I for one went to this so called AMV contest and just so the world fully understands this I'm going to put it in quotations, "There were problems with the AMV contest". Now I'm not saying because this ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SUPER COOL HILARIOUS FABULOUS AMV that akurasu put together wasn't in the show didn't ensure the problems that were present. One problem everyone in the room agreed with (because everyone gripped when it happened) was the over populated categories showcasing the same show or movie. There were repeats in the same categories! Why would you do that! I like Final Fantasy Advent Children but for the sake diversity when you have two amv's showing the same movie in the same category you’re just ensuring both video's demise. The second problem which goes with the first problem was that not only did the pre-screener's over load categories but also they put videos RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER! You’re watching Advent Children then guess what? You’re watching it again but with different music. Advent Children wasn't the only overly used show. There was another one I don't know the name of it but it had women with rather large bosoms popping bullets out between their mountains while reloading their guns. Now to really put the icing on this horribly crafted amv contest the humor category was pretty much the same as last year. Now this is purely my opinion but I find nothing humorous about Megatron singing Mr. Roboto. Transformers don't make me laugh. Anyway with hope, luck, and a bit of "adjectives" next year HAS to be better then this year.

Yeah, it definitely should have gotten in. I was only able to see the first 2 categories' worth of vids, and... man, I don't think the screening committee was very good. That, or they really didn't get that many great vids. The Revenge of Mr. Transformer (it was Transformers the Movie to Mr. Roboto) was easily the best one I saw. Everything else either had way too many fast cuts, or very average at best.
